SLIM National Sales Awards 2025, organised by Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, concluded its Finale on 28th October 2025 at Monarch Imperial, successfully under the theme of “Ambassadors of Sales – The Force Behind the Figure”. The final evaluation process took place under the purview of a jury of industry experts reinforcing its commitment in recognising the sales professionals across Sri Lanka while providing much needed empowerment to sustain in the industry for their exceptional capacity.
Prof. (Dr.) Dewasiri N. Jayantha, President of SLIM expressed, “The final evaluation of the SLIM National Sales Awards 2025 was successfully conducted bringing it to the Grand Finale, marking a major milestone in creating Sri Lanka’s sales legacy. This further reflects and reinforces SLIM’s continuous effort to uplift the standards of the nation’s sales fraternity.”
The evaluation process took place with transparency and excellence in the evaluation process. This year’s theme for the NSA is “Ambassadors of Sales,” under the tagline of “The Force Behind the Figures” because sales are not merely about generating record-breaking numbers but celebrate excellence, professionalism as well as leadership.
Mr. Enoch Perera, Vice President, Events & Sustainability said, “SLIM carries the reputation of over five decades in as the only platform in promoting marketing and sales professionalism regardless of gender in Sri Lanka. Our commitment for a rigorous evaluation process upheld for the highest standards of excellence and thus far it is the only platform available for similar recognition nationally.”
Dr. Dilhan Sampath Jayatilleke, Vice President, Education & Research stated, “Our goal is to inspire professionalism, innovation as well as excellence among sales professionals across the country. We not only celebrate individual achievements but also elevate the sales as a respected profession in Sri Lanka’s dynamic business landscape.”
Mr. Channa Jayasinghe, Project Chair, added “SLIM National Sales Awards recognition has been further solidified this year because the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development has endorsed the SLIM’s commitment to “contribute significantly towards strengthening SMEs, enhancing entrepreneurship and achieving the objectives of the National SME Development Strategy Framework.”
Mr. Chamil Wickremasinghe, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) explained, “Let SLIM NSA 2025 be the ultimate inspiration for the event’s professionalism and scale for the sales professionals across the country in several industries as the SLIM’s position as the ultimate authority in national sales recognition and development.
Mr. Anil Kumara Meegahage, Head of Jury observed, “This year marks as significant due to it exceeding 1200+ entries renewing SLIM NSA as the highest number of entries were received reflecting its recognition of front liners and the increased female professionals’ participation further establishing its name for inclusivity.”
SLIM’s recognition for excellence and professionalism goes back for five decades for sales among its industry fraternity, being the apex body for the industry and having 24 consecutive years of legacy in organising the programme with a transparent, structured judging process led by respected industry leaders.
