Toyota Lanka (Private) Limited, the sole authorized dealer of Toyota vehicles and spare parts in Sri Lanka, recently held its 14th Annual Dealer Convention at the Araliya Beach Resort & Spa, Unawatuna. The annual event felicitated 235 authorized partners of Toyota Lanka from across the country who partnering us in distribution of Toyota Genuine Motor Oil and genuine Toyota spare parts.
Dealers who excelled in exceptional performance in sales over the 2021/2022 financial year were recognized and rewarded by Mr. Sachio Yotsukura, the Chairman of Toyota Lanka and Mr. Manohara Atukorala, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Lanka. This year awards were presented in six categories with cash rewards and the top award won by Auto World (Pvt) Ltd in the Spare Parts and Service category whilst the Runner Up was Samarasinghe Motors, Matara.
Mr. Sachio Yotsukura, the Chairman of Toyota, addressed the gathering, “It’s with pleasure I address you today, marking the 14th National Dealer convention of Toyota Lanka. This event is certainly one of the most important annual events in the Toyota Calendar. I would like to extend our appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to you, for the continuous and incredible support given to Toyota Lanka over the years, to achieve the excellence in the automobile industry. Mr. Manohara Atukorala, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Lanka also addressed the convention, “Regardless of the ever-changing nature of the Automobile Industry, Toyota Lanka has grown steadily over the years. We believe that with your continued support in the future, we can raise the bar even beyond in delivering more than just our products and services, and going the extra mile to cater the best to our customers.”
During the event, apart from the product knowledge, the dealers were given the education on how to use social media for marketing and the importance of using digital marketing for business improvement. Dealers were educated on the benefits of using digital marketing for the targeted audience to reach them in a cost-effective and measurable way and other benefits include increased brand loyalty and driving online sales. Dealers were also educated on the current trends of social media, as staying on top of current trends can assist dealers in connecting with and building relationships with prospective customers in the future.
