Celestial brilliance, crystalline depth: Rocell’s latest surface innovation transforms the way polished ceramic tiles interact with light.
For the first time in Sri Lanka, Rocell introduces ‘Starlight’, an advanced surface innovation that brings crystal-like depth and brilliance to polished porcelain tiles. Inspired by the brilliance of the cosmos, Rocell Starlight captures the depth, radiance, and natural interplay of light found among the stars. As light moves across the tile, subtle variations in reflection create a captivating sense of depth and movement, transforming the surface from a flat polished finish into something that feels almost celestial. Building on Rocell’s commitment to design, quality, and innovation, Rocell Starlight represents a new chapter in ceramic surface development.
Unlike conventional polished tiles, which create a largely uniform reflection, Starlight technology introduces greater depth and visual complexity through a specialised polishing process. Crystal-like formations emerge from within the ceramic surface, creating a distinctive interaction with light. The result is a refined finish with greater depth, contrast, and visual presence.
What sets the technology apart is that the effect is not printed onto the tile or added as a decorative layer. A specialised granulate is incorporated into the manufacturing process before polishing, allowing the crystalline effect to emerge from within the surface itself. This gives each tile a rich, authentic character while maintaining the consistency required for modern residential and commercial applications.
Designed for homeowners, renovators, architects, and interior designers, the technology offers a sophisticated new material for floors, feature walls, and statement interiors.
With Starlight, Rocell continues to bring global surface innovation to the Sri Lankan market while advancing the possibilities of ceramic design. More than a new finish, it reflects Rocell’s ongoing pursuit of bringing the world’s finest designs and design technologies to Sri Lanka and to its discerning customers.
