DIMO Agribusinesses successfully concluded the DIMO Care Camp 2026, completing 38 activations across 38 locations islandwide from 8 August to 15 September 2026. Open to tractors of any brand or model, the initiative reinforced DIMO Agri Machinery’s commitment to providing reliable after-sales support while strengthening engagement with farming communities across Sri Lanka.
The DIMO Care Camps were conducted across key agricultural regions, with prominent locations including Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, Ampara, Monaragala, Polonnaruwa, Batticaloa and Matale. By taking essential services closer to farming communities, the initiative highlighted the strength and accessibility of DIMO Agri Machinery’s islandwide after-sales service network.
Participants benefited from comprehensive tractor inspections, servicing and repairs, technical consultations and access to essential spare parts. DIMO’s experienced technical teams also provided tractor owners with practical guidance on proper maintenance, helping them improve the performance, efficiency and longevity of their machinery.
Beyond machinery-related services, participants were offered free health checks, including blood pressure checks, BMI assessments and blood glucose testing. The activations also created an engaging experience for participants through games and gifts, making the DIMO Care Camp more than just a service initiative. Participants were also encouraged and educated on ways to improve productivity and uplift their livelihoods through better machinery care and informed agricultural practices.
A special training session was conducted during the activation for agricultural machinery students at the Ethimale Vocational Training Centre. In addition to practical technical training, the session provided guidance on their future career progression and the opportunities available for professional development within the agricultural machinery sector. This initiative reflected DIMO’s broader commitment to developing technical capabilities and supporting the next generation of skilled professionals in Sri Lanka’s agriculture industry.
