This new chapter reflects the institution’s continued commitment to maintaining high academic standards while expanding internationally recognized qualification pathways. The appointment strengthens ESOL’s position as a credible and accessible provider, offering students structured programmes aligned with global benchmarks.
Commenting on the achievement, Director Mr. Himantha Karunarathne stated that the college’s academic model is built on clarity, discipline, and flexibility, offering structured evening and weekend classes that ensure accessibility without overwhelming students. He noted that the curriculum is aligned with Pearson benchmarks and supported by continuous assessments and strong academic supervision, enabling students to progress within a clearly defined global framework.
Further elaborating on the initiative, Director Ms. Amali Jayasinghe stated that the programme was introduced to serve students and homeschoolers seeking a globally recognized, skill-focused qualification without disrupting their existing schooling. She emphasized that the structured evening model allows learners to pursue international qualifications while continuing their current studies, supported by reliable academic guidance and examination services.
Assistant General Manager Mr. Andrew Abinash highlighted that the introduction of the Pearson Edexcel iPLS curriculum reflects the institution’s continued focus on delivering quality education while expanding pathways for students to gain qualifications in Mathematics, Science, English, IT, and Global Citizenship.
