Dynamic AV Technologies (Pvt) Ltd., Sri Lanka’s premier audio-visual solutions provider and exclusive authorized partner of China’s Naaya Group, successfully concluded two landmark acoustic workshops, marking a significant milestone in advancing architectural acoustic standards across Sri Lanka’s construction industry.
The strategic workshops, held at Cinnamon Life’s Lumina Auditorium and the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects Auditorium in October 2025, brought together construction professionals, MEP organizations, and architects to address the critical need for proper acoustic treatment in modern construction projects.
“As Naaya Group’s exclusive partner for the Sri Lankan market, we’re transforming how the construction industry approaches acoustic challenges,” stated Malik Fernando, Managing Director of Dynamic AV Technologies. “With the rapid growth in commercial construction, hospitals, educational facilities, and mixed-use developments, acoustic performance is no longer an afterthought—it’s a fundamental requirement for building functionality and occupant wellbeing.”
The workshops emphasized practical applications crucial for the construction sector: controlling vibration and noise at source, implementing effective sound insulation between spaces, optimizing HVAC acoustic performance, and integrating acoustic solutions without compromising architectural aesthetics. These elements are essential for meeting international building standards and creating environments that enhance productivity while reducing noise-related stress.
Sina Huang, Managing Director of Naaya Group, commented: “Our partnership with Dynamic AV Technologies brings world-class acoustic engineering to Sri Lanka. With over 5,000 projects completed globally and specialized manufacturing capabilities, we’re equipped to address the unique acoustic challenges faced by Sri Lankan construction projects, from high-rise developments to specialized facilities.”
Dynamic AV’s proven track record includes transformative acoustic installations at the Trinity College Chapel, Western Provincial Council’s chambers, the 4,000-seat Miracle Dome, and comprehensive solutions for Cinnamon Life—Southeast Asia’s largest integrated resort. Their expertise spans critical sectors including financial institutions, hospitality chains, educational facilities, and government buildings.

The construction industry faces increasing pressure to deliver buildings that meet stringent acoustic requirements for speech privacy, noise control, and occupant comfort. Poor acoustic design leads to decreased productivity, communication difficulties, and regulatory compliance issues—problems that proper acoustic treatment effectively prevents.
“The enthusiastic response from construction professionals confirms what we’ve long advocated—acoustic excellence is integral to construction quality,” added Fernando. “Our partnership with Naaya Group ensures Sri Lankan projects access cutting-edge acoustic technologies and expertise previously unavailable locally.”
Dynamic AV Technologies plans quarterly workshops focusing on sector-specific acoustic challenges, supporting the construction industry’s evolution toward international acoustic standards.
