Clogard joins global elite in Kotler’s upcoming marketing publication

Hemas Consumer Brands is proud to announce that Clogard, a leading and trusted oral care brand in Sri Lanka, will be featured in the Sri Lanka & Maldives Edition of ‘Essentials in Modern Marketing’ by Kotler Impact Inc. This recognition underscores the strength and innovative nature of Hemas, and its dedication to uplifting Sri Lankan lives through purposeful brands.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Hemas Consumer Brands and Kotler Impact Inc. in June 2025, at the Hemas Consumer Brands Head Office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The agreement marks Hemas Consumer Brands’ entry into a prestigious international platform and celebrates the local success story in a publication curated by the globally reputed ‘father of modern marketing’, Professor Philip Kotler.

Clogard will be highlighted in the oral care category, under the FMCG sector in the upcoming publication. As a third of Sri Lanka’s population using the brand, Clogard is both the second-largest oral care brand in the country, and the largest of local origin. The featured case study will explore the brands rise to prominence among discerning consumers, through a balanced articulation of Points of Parity (POPs) and Points of Difference (PODs). It will highlight Clogard’s unique approach, deep market understanding and bold innovations that have reshaped the oral care category in the country.

This recognition solidifies Hemas Consumer Brands’ position as a powerhouse in Sri Lanka’s FMCG landscape. Despite intense competition from multinationals, the brand has consistently been a forerunner across multiple categories via a portfolio of trusted brands designed for Sri Lankan families. The inclusion of the company’s story in Essentials of Modern Marketing, is a reflection in Hemas’ belief in building brands with purpose and value.
