The Dollar selling rate of several licensed commercial banks in Sri Lanka was listed at Rs. 340 today (18). Its selling rate which was listed at Rs. 330 during the last week has increased by Rs. 10 and continues to rise.

Dollar selling rate passes Rs. 300 in Sri Lanka

For the first time in the history, US Dollar rate against Sri Lankan rupee has surpassed Rs. 300. The selling price of US Dollar at licensed commercial banks has increased to Rs. 310. The Sri Lankan rupee is on a depreciation swing as it continues to hit record lows against the US Dollar.
